Representative Sanders, Chairman, convened the House Special                   
Committee on Economic Development meeting at 3:02 p.m.

Committee members present at the call to order were Representatives            
Sanders, Kemplen, Berkowitz, Hodgins and Austerman.  Other                     
legislators present were Representative Moses.                                 
                                                                               
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                         
                                                                               
CHRISTOPHER GATES, Executive Director, Adak Reuse Corporation,                 
presented an overview of the Adak Reuse Corporation and answered               
questions.                                                                     
                                                                               
ELARY GROMOFF jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, Aleut                
Corporation; President, Adak Reuse Corporation; and Co-Chair                   
Remediation Advisory Board for the Clean-up of Adak, discussed the             
current situation at Adak, presented a video on what the                       
potentials are at Adak and answered questions.
